These terms apply to all photography services provided by Laurens Flak and are governed by Belgian law.

Booking & payment

A booking is only confirmed once the agreement has been accepted and the 30% booking fee has been paid.
The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the session or wedding date, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Cancellations & postponements

The booking fee is non-refundable, as the date is reserved exclusively.
If a booking is cancelled close to the planned date, additional cancellation costs may apply as described in the signed agreement.
If a session or wedding needs to be postponed, every reasonable effort will be made to transfer the booking to a new suitable date, depending on availability.

Delivery & editing

All images are carefully selected and edited in Laurens’ signature documentary style.
A preview may be delivered shortly after the shoot where possible. Final galleries are typically delivered within the communicated timeframe, usually within 4 to 6 weeks.
RAW files and unedited files are never delivered.

Artistic approach

By booking, you confirm that you are familiar with Laurens’ visual style, editing approach and documentary way of working.
Creative decisions regarding image selection, framing, timing and editing remain at the photographer’s discretion.

Copyright & personal use

All images remain the intellectual property of Laurens Flak.
Upon full payment, clients receive a personal usage license for downloading, printing and sharing the images privately or on personal social media.
Commercial or third-party use is only allowed with prior written permission.

Liability

Every reasonable effort is made to deliver the agreed services with care and professionalism.
In the unlikely event of illness, force majeure or technical circumstances beyond reasonable control, every reasonable effort will be made to provide a suitable solution.
Any liability is limited to the amount paid under the agreement, insofar as permitted by Belgian law.
